Jennifer Aniston reportedly met ex-husband Brad Pitt for dinner.

The former couple - who finalised their divorce in 2005 after three years of marriage - are said to have had a business dinner in Toronto, Canada, last week, where they are both appearing at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Jennifer, 39, who is promoting her new film Management, reportedly visited the 44-year-old actor’s hotel for the meal - the first time they have seen each other since their divorce.

Prior to the festival, where Brad is promoting Burn After Reading, Jennifer was said to be “terrified” of bumping into her ex-husband.

A source said: “Her people are checking and double checking her schedule to make sure she doesn’t go within a mile of Brad, let alone bump into him.

“She’s already concerned about her break-up with John Mayer overshadowing her movie, so the last thing she wants is another ex in the picture.

“It’s inconvenient having to duck and dive but more than anything she finds it embarrassing.”

Amy Winehouse has been spotted hanging out with another Blake these days. This one is also gaunt and very into the skinny jeans that leave little to the imagination. However, where he differs from Amy’s husband is that he is American and a photographer and artist and according to Amy, he’s gay. Oh yes, and he’s not in jail. However, his sexual preference has done little to stop rumors from flying that the two have developed a close relationship of which Amy’s husband, Black Fielder-Civil, might not approve.

According to friends of hers, “Amy’s husband wouldn’t be happy if he knew how close they’d become,” because Wood is allegedly bi-sexual and the two have been spending lots of time together as of late. However, it’s no secret to Amy’s husband that the two have been hanging out because he was recently paid a visit in jail by both Amy and Blake Wood. Also, Amy seems crazy in love with her husband, dedicating her recent Grammy win to “Blake, my incarcerated.”

But if she is stepping out on her hubby, then Amy looks like she’s only into guys who appear to be dying. I think she might find her next husband in the morgue.

Benji Madden and Sophie Monk are done. Cooked!

The Australian actress’ Sydney agent and friend, Yoon Kim, confirmed her breakup from the Good Charlotte rocker.

“Sophie and Benji have officially split. The decision was mutual and they remain amicable,” Kim’s statement read. “This will be my only statement regarding this matter.”

The pair were engaged to be married.

Rumors of a split first surfaced in early January but were quickly denied by his publicist.

We have a feeling SHE may have been the one doing the dumping!

We’re told Brit’s law firm, Trope and Trope, has filed an ex parte motion to get out of the case even faster than scheduled. Right now, Trope’s motion to withdraw as counsel is set to be heard on March 10, but apparently Trope can’t wait to get out. We’re told that tomorrow, the firm will ask the Commissioner to hear its request earlier.

Trope and Trope filed the withdrawal motion one day after Laura Wasser secretly visited Brit in the hospital last week, and that Jamie Spears wanted to replace Trope with Laura. That’s gotta hurt! But the fact is, we’re hearing the firm has been divided for a while over whether it was a good idea to keep representing Britney.

Wasser would not return calls, but we’re told she doesn’t want back in because the case is nothing but grief.

The hearing is set for tomorrow at 8:30 AM. Stay tuned.

UPDATE: Sources say there are two major reasons why Trope wants out, stat. First, they’re pissed off that Brit likes Laura more, but even more fundamentally, it’s impossible to rep anyone when you can’t communicate with them, and we’re told the court-appointed lawyer for Britney will not let the Trope lawyers have any contact with Britney.

The Star is reporting that singer Lance Bass is having romance problems with his beau, Ben Thigpen, but that they will probably work it through fine.

“On Jan. 27, the day before they were to fly to L.A. and move in together, the two had a huge fight. Sources tell Star that furious Ben stayed in New York because during a brief mini vacation to Miami Beach, Lance locked lips with another guy at a bar — right in front of Ben!”

“But friends predict the men will kiss and make up. “Lance has been phoning Ben a lot, hoping that he will forgive him,” says a source. “
